About

Our Story

At Hyperbiotics, we believe that everything begins in the gut.

This belief (though backed by tremendous research) has been reinforced for us through personal experience.

After healing from the parasite Entamoeba Histolytica I became empowered with the knowledge of the role of the microbiome in regard to our overall health and well-being. A paradigm shift occurred as I began to understand the importance of gut health and that everything – from our diets high in processed foods to chlorine in our water, antibiotics in our livestock and even not being breastfed as a child – can leave us severely deficient in one of the most important aspects of immunity: probiotics.

Armed with research and invigorated with possibilities, the concept that bacteria is both the foundation and the future of health ignited my quest to formulate a better probiotic. Hyperbiotics was born.

Using patented technology, we are proud to say that we have developed the world’s most effective probiotic supplements and that we help people feel their best on a daily basis by delivering to them the full benefits probiotics have to offer.

Enjoy the power-packed goodness!

Our Mission

At Hyperbiotics, we love making a difference by developing effective probiotic formulas but the heart of our company is to educate and empower people to make choices and to live lives that are free from the modern epidemic of continual microbiome depletion.

Gut health begins at birth. As a baby travels through the vaginal canal, they are inoculated with the bacteria they need to begin a healthy life on earth. The next round of probiotics, as intended by nature, are delivered through skin-to-skin contact and next through their mother’s milk with the purpose of building the foundation of a proper microbiome, promoting health and well-being.

At Hyperbiotics, we are on a mission to educate others and to support the movement that leads us back to living life as nature intended. And, what better way than to ensure new beings enter this world full of love and nourishment and without a compromised microbiome?

This mission has driven us to partner with Robin Lim at Bumi Sehat in Bali, Indonesia, and we are completely riveted by her work.

Robin is an internationally-recognized humanitarian, midwife, well-known author and CNN Hero of the Year. Her non-profit Indonesian birthing and educational clinics have saved hundreds of lives and delivered thousands of babies over the last decade, serving the poor and medically disenfranchised citizens of Bali and, far away, in the tsunami-ravaged province of Aceh, Sumatra where the infant mortality rate is 5 times that of the US and the maternal mortality rate is 31 times that of the US. “Ibu” (Mother) Robin and her organization remain committed to changing the world, one gentle birth at a time.

In the last year, Hyperbiotics has supported 372 gentle births and the prenatal care for 310 expecting moms. We also provide ongoing probiotic supplies for Bumi Sehat's work in Indonesia, Philippines and Nepal.

MicroBirth is a new and eye-opening feature-length documentary looking at birth in a whole new way: through the lens of a microscope. The film investigates the latest scientific research that is starting to link the way babies are born with their health later in life.

The purpose of the documentary is to raise public awareness of the importance of “seeding the baby’s microbiome” at birth with the mother’s own bacteria – this bacteria helps train the immune system to recognize what is “friend” and what is “foe.” We believe “seeding of the baby’s microbiome” should be on every birth plan – for even if vaginal birth isn’t possible, immediate skin-to-skin contact and breastfeeding can still help to provide bacteria crucial to the development of the baby’s immune system. In the scientists’ view, if we can get the seeding of the baby’s microbiome right at birth, this could make a massive difference to the baby’s health for the rest of its life.
